New Era Archaeology provides a number of unique services including Archaeological Assessments Stages 1 through 4, Aboriginal Engagement and Osteoarchaeological. We work closely with the Ministry of Tourism Culture and Sport to enure efficiency. Our staff has extensive experience conducting all types of archaeological assessments and in an efficient way. This allows us to complete archaeological assessments quickly and efficiently limiting our expense and pass along the savings to our clients. This also allows the process to move forward smoothly. Professional Licensed Archaeologist
Sarah holds a professional license to conduct archaeology within Ontario and has been involved with the industry for over 10 years. She is a member of the Association of Professional Archaeologist in Ontario. An undergraduate degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Archaeology and a Masters degree from the University of Sheffield in Experimental Archaeology has provided her with a solid background and necessary skills to conduct archaeology in Ontario. Sarah has participated in excavations around the world including Jordan, England and Serbia using different techniques. This varied experience has allowed her to apply techniques to archaeology in Ontario to help preserve Ontario's cultural history.

Professional Licensed Archaeologist, Human Osteoarchaeologist
Kayleigh has a professional license to conduct archaeology within Ontario and has been working in the field for over 10 years. Currently she is also an elected member of the Heritage Barrie committee helping the city to balance heritage protection with developmental growth. She holds an undergraduate Bachelors degree in Archaeology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters of Science in Human Osteoarchaeology from the University of Edinburgh. Both degrees have provided her with a solid background and necessary skills to confidently conduct all stages of archaeological assessments and the recovery and analysis of human remains. Kayleigh has worked on a wide variety of archaeological sites both in cultural affiliation and site type including burials and is able to process and analyze all recovered material. Additionally, Kayleigh has applied her knowledge and background outside of the archaeological field while aiding the O.P.P. with a cold case investigation to relocate human remains.
